Hello there and welcome to my first ever recipe!
This morning, I was deciding what to have for breakfast and came to the conclusion that I was in the mood for a smoothie. However, I didn't want to fall into the trap of making something admittedly tasty yet not actually that healthy, so I came up with something that tasted absolutely scrumptious AND was packed with loads of amazingly beneficial ingredients. So, what did I make? A "Green Super Smoothie", of course! It contains a surplus of wonderful ingredients, including kiwi, pear, apple, spinach, and the one ingredient that gives it that gorgeous green glow: SPIRULINA! For those of you who don't know, spirulina is an absolutely miraculous superfood that is derived from some sort of seaweed/algae thing. I'm not too sure. But, what I do know is that it's packed with loads of essential minerals and vitamins: Vitamin K, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Potassium, protein, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Iron, Copper and Manganese to name a few! Read on to find out how to make it! This recipe will make about 2 large smoothies.
